Scope of Activities
To carry out some or all of the following activities:
Install active network connectivity components (hubs, bridges and routers), hardware (connected workstations and servers) and software
Follow the hardware and software installation and connection procedures
Install updates
Test network hardware
Validate the installation and integration of new systems, networks and telecoms in the production environment
Install new software and integrate it into the company information system
Manage operational incidents
Resolve incidents or issues flagged up by internal requests: diagnose the incident and identify it, then formulate and monitor its resolution
Implement measures to improve system quality and/or productivity
Contribute to corrective maintenance initiatives in terms of quality monitoring and assurance
Implement security, backup and metrology tools
Ensure that secure access procedures for technical service facilities are complied with, and report any issues
Manage and maintain server and mainframe technical infrastructures (routers, hubs, cabling, etc.)
Monitor hardware development
Maintain a permanent inventory and manage all network components
Operate and administer the network within your scope of responsibility
Manage access rights to servers and applications on the basis of user profiles
Check hardware compliance with baselines
Provide (Level 2) production support
The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
Address and resolve QSE alerts raised by personnel
Ensure that your team has the skills required for their jobs (QSE training, accreditations, etc.)
Support QSE maturity development in your sector
10 years in industrial purchasing with a large aerospace, automotive or other group
