An Automation Engineer on a fixed-term contract until December 31, 2025

You are more than a function, you are:
An automation expert for automation and HMI (Human Machine Interface) improvement projects, as well as for digitalization initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry.
You give us your ability to:
• Participate in the planning and management of complex automation projects, with an emphasis on international pharmaceutical regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, etc.)
• Collaborate with the various teams to ensure effective coordination and respect project deadlines.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in accordance with pharmaceutical validation rules.
• Deploy and optimize technological solutions based on digital policies and strategies established by the corporate
• Ensure the traceability of all system changes and updates.
• Analyze operational needs specific to the pharmaceutical industry to develop effective and compliant automated solutions.
• Design, program (or supervise the design/programming) and test automation and HMI systems adapted to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
• Offer specialized technical support during the commissioning and maintenance of systems, including the training of operators to ensure the correct and safe handling of the systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues while documenting resolution processes to improve future operations.
• Propose improvements and innovations to maximize the efficiency of production processes and minimize costs.
• Participate in the digitalization of processes to improve the traceability and efficiency of pharmaceutical production.
• Higher computer science education Bac +5 with a specialization in automation/industrial computing complemented by an experience of 3 to 5 years ideally acquired in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry or, failing that, in a highly regulated process industry.
• Fluency in English (read and spoken)
• In-depth knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and digitization control systems, with experience in GMP standards.
• Strong analytical skills and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge in validating automated systems according to pharmaceutical regulations.
• Experience is desired with tools such as MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and other solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrate a spirit of analysis and synthesis
• Have a sense of service
• Be autonomous
